LG has officially launched the G Pro 2 in India, after the phone popped up at online retailers earlier this week. Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom had tweeted earlier claiming that the MOP of the device will be Rs 49,900, while the MRP is Rs 51,500. The LG G Pro 2 boasts of a 5.9-inch display, bigger than the 5.5 inch screen of the previous model, which we thought was a great attempt on LG’s part. At 5.9 inches, it is indeed one of the biggest on the market, competing with the likes of the recently launched Oppo N1. It comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. Some other specs include 32GB internal storage expandable with a microSD slot, 13-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization, 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera, 4K video recording with stabilization and Android 4.4 KitKat.
