LG Judy could be the successor to G6 and is expected to sport a 6.1-inch display, Snapdragon 845 SoC, dual 16 MP cameras and more

Image: LG[/caption]Codenamed 'Judy', a report by popular tipster Evan Blass on Venture Beat reveals that LG's new flagship smartphone will not arrive anytime before June.LG announced that it was going to take a break from its usual smartphone launch cycle but is yet to mention whether it will be launching any flagships this year.According to the report, Blass believes that the new smartphone will sport a fresh design and feature in a number of colour schemes.'Judy' is expected to come with a 6.1-inch 18:9 display which is significantly larger than the 5.7-inch display on the G6 last year. The company is also expected to feature a new type of display for the device called MLCD+. Blass says that this panel will be capable of 800-nit brightness while consuming 35 percent less power in comparison to conventional LCD panels.As far as internals go, Judy is expected to get the top of the line, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of onboard storage. On the camera front, we get dual 16 MP sensors with f/1.6 aperture on the back while we do not know much about the front camera yet.The smartphone is also expected to be IP 68 water and dust resistant and is expected to feature support for HDR10.We do not have image leaks yet, but this surely should get LG fans all pumped up for the summer.
