Lava X81 with Android 6.0 Marshmallow launched at Rs 11,500

Lava Mobiles has announced its newest budget smartphone called the X81 at a price of Rs 11,500. The smartphone packs in budget hardware and will be available in Space grey via offline retailers and online at Flipkart from 13 June. The gold version of the smartphone will go on sale in the coming months.The X81 packs in a 5-inch IPS HD display with a curved 2.5D, Gorilla Glass 3 screen. Inside, we get a 1.3GHz quad-core chipset from MediaTek that is paired with 3GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The internal storage can be further expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card.  Coming to the camera, the X81 features a 13MP primary camera and 5MP front-facing unit. Both cameras offer an LED flash for better shooting in low light.Lava X81 Silver back front sideConnectivity options include, 4G bands support on a dual SIM setup, but one can only use one 4G SIM at a time. You get Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and a micro USB port at the bottom end for charging and data transfers.Powering it all is a 2700mAh battery. The handset's key feature is indeed its software with Lava offering Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Other software features are to do with the camera app, that offers Pic Focus for sharp focus, Wide Selfie to add more people in a selfie, Beauty-fi and  Night Pro.Lava recently unveiled its A59 entry-level smartphone on their website. It is a feature-rich, budget-friendly smartphone priced at just Rs 4,199.
