Old fans of The Elder Scrolls series are excited for the imminent release of the next DLC for Skyrim that takes us back to one of the islands of Morrowind. While this is all common knowledge, there is little else known about the upcoming DLC. According to The Out Housers, information about the DLC has been leaked.
Among other things, the new abilities and weapons in the DLC have been revealed. This includes new shouts like the Cyclone that creates a tornado and Battle Fury that gives you a buff for fighting. Another shout – Dragon Aspect – allows you to summon dragon armour and increases the overall effectiveness of your shouts and melee attacks, and summons an Ancient Dragonborn who fights alongside you.

There are new spells and enchantments like Poison Rune, Whirlwind Cloak, Ash Shell, Water Walking along with the ability to enchant staves. You can also get new spells that summon creatures including Ash Guardian, Ash Spawn and Seeker.
The DLC can reportedly be finished in 10 hours if you are rushing through it, but the beta tester who leaked the information said that he has been playing for 30 hours without finishing it. There are many other additions to the game in the upcoming DLC, including the ability to buy houses in the new areas.
Back in November, Bethesda had released new screenshots that gave us a taste of what we could expect in the upcoming DLC. Bethesda had also revealed some information on the DLC:
- Explore Beyond Skyrim: Leave the province of Skyrim and travel to the coastal island of Solstheim. Encounter the Dark Elven settlers of Raven Rock and the native Skaal, as you unravel the mystery of a Dragonborn's return.
- Become the Ultimate Dragonborn: Harness the power of the Voice as you face off against the first Dragonborn. Wield new shouts and spells including Dragon Aspect that allows you to summon the inner power of a dragon to deliver colossal blows and strengthen other shouts.
- New Powers: Discover dark powers as you journey into a new Daedric realm. Collect books of forbidden knowledge and choose new paths for your skills and abilities.
- New dungeons, creatures, weapons and more: Suit up in Bonemold and Chitin armours and wield Stalhrim weapons as you navigate through a myriad of dungeons. Battle formidable foes like Ash Spawn, Rieklings and more.
Morrowind was originally the setting for the third game of the series – The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, and is the home of the dark elves, aka, Dunmer. Quest markers for areas in Morrowind such as Solstheim, Telvanni Castle, Karstaag, Raven Rock and Miraak Temple have been discovered in Skyrim’s files.
Ever heard of one of those people who just never seem to shut up about something? Shunal is like the nerd equivalent of that guy. Believe us when we say that he can go on talking about games and smartphones for hours on end. We do manage to find some insight in his insane ramblings though, and through his moronic facade, he does seem to know more than he lets on. Sadly enough, it always ends up being about gaming with him. Or stupid, stupid puns.
