IFA 2016: Asus unveils the Zenpad 3s 10

Asus unveiled the Zenpad 3s 10 at the IFA 2016 in Berlin. The 9.7 inch tablet features a QXGA display with a 2048 x 1536 resolution. It is powered by a hexa-core MediaTek 8176 processor and has a generous 4GB of RAM. There is 64 GB of on board storage, with a micro SD card slot that can further expand the storage up to 128GB. The Zenpad 3s 10 has a 5900mAh battery, that allows for 10 hours of continuous video playback, or 12 hours of surfing over Wi-Fi.This is the first Asus tablet to ship with a fingerprint scanner. The tablet supports the Asus Z stylus, which is sold separately. The battery can be fully charged in under three hours because of Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 technology. The tablet is optimised for a multimedia experience. The Asus Tru2Life video processing technology is used to process every pixel for brightness, colour, sharpness and contrast values before a frame is displayed. The stereo speakers use a new five-magnet system for delivering clear and loud sound.The chassis is crafted from a single block of aluminum, resulting in clean lines and a thickness of just 5.8mm. The rear surface is sandblasted for a matte finish. The chamfers are diamond cut. There is a 5.3mm bezel around the display, one of the thinnest in the world, resulting in an exceedingly compact 9.7 inch tablet. This allows for the Zenpad 10 S to lead in it's category with a screen to body ratio of 78 per cent.
