HTC Collaborates with Beats for Better Audio Experience

HTC and headphones-maker, Beats by Dr. Dre, have recently teamed up and the deal could potentially offer HTC smartphone users a better audio experience. Listening to music via smartphones hasn’t really been the best available option, but things are looking to change with this latest partnership. Smartphone users will have plenty of reasons to rejoice if Beats can do the same to the smartphone audio experience it did to its range of headphones.

These currently make use of the SRS WOW HD enhancement, which is nothing but advanced pre-emphasis and amplification, but the clarity doesn’t really seem to improve radically. The whole appeal of music is the ability to reproduce the full spectrum of sound captured in professional recording studios, allowing listeners to hear music the way the artist intended it to be produced, something that smartphones haven’t really achieved. So, if Beats and HTC do manage to come up with a more interesting option and nail that requirement, it might just redefine the whole smartphone audio industry.
