HP Officially Announces TouchPad, Smartphones Veer and Pre3

The title says it all, HP has finally announced their tablet, the TouchPad and two smartphones called Veer and Pre3. Although we’ve seen images of the TouchPad before, let's quickly look at what the tablet has to offer.

HP's Medicine

TouchPad runs on HP’s webOS and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.2 GHz processor. The tablet boasts of the standard features of a Light sensor, Accelerometer, Digital Compass (Magnetometer) and Gyroscope. The list of specs are as follows:

• 9.7-inch diagonal XGA capacitive, multitouch screen
• Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, A-GPS
• Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR with A2DP
• 1.3 megapixel front facing camera
• 16 GB or 32 GB of internal storage
• 3.5 mm headset/headphone/microphone jack

The Veer ones

Moving on to HP Veer, the smartphone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocking 800 MHz and runs on webOS. The device supports personal email support like Google Gmail push, Yahoo!, POP3 and IMAP. It also has a Proximity Sensor, a Light Sensor and an Accelerometer. Following are the specs of Veer:
