Guitar Hero: Metallica On Its Way!
A Guitar Hero game based on the epic band will release in Q1 2009!

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith wasn’t that great an announcement for me, but since Activision revealed their band-centric approach to the franchise, I’ve been really hoping and praying for a Metallica based GH game. Seems like my prayers have been answered! GameSpot reports the sighting of an SEC filing of Activision’s that reveals the game’s release window somewhere in the first quarter of 2009:
“When sifting through an SEC filing of Activision's over the weekend, Wedbush Morgan Securities analyst Edward Woo--associate of the highly visible Michael Pachter--uncovered a gem in the section where the Santa Monica, California-based publisher discussed its upcoming game slate.
"In fiscal 2009, we plan to publish Guitar Hero: On Tour for the NDS; Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, Guitar Hero: Metallica, and Guitar Hero IV across multiple platforms," the company said in its report.”
