Google reportedly testing Android 4.4.3 update; to focus mainly on bug fixes

A leaked changelog has revealed the details of the upcoming Android 4.4.3 update. Some sources familiar with the matter, told Android Police that the 4.4.3 update will be focussing primarily on fixing several bugs. It will reportedly not see any major changes in the UI, changes that will only come in the next major Android release.[caption id="attachment_220861" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Leaked screenshot shows the upcoming Android 4.4.3 update[/caption] According to the report, Android 4.4.3 changelog is loaded with at least a dozen bug fixes. It will be releasing fixes for frequent data connection dropout, improved camera focus in regular and HDR modes, power management display wakelock, which has been known to affect the battery life, along with multiple Bluetooth fixes, patches to stop random reboots, USB debugging security and apps shortcut security. The list will also include Wi-Fi auto-connect fix, camera fixes, as well as fixes for MMS, Email/Exchange, Calendar, People/Dialler/Contacts apps, as well as to the DSP music equaliser. Other improvements will be seen in IPv6 support, VPN, activation screen, missed call LED, subtitle playback, Internet telephony fix, among other patches. LlabTooFeR, a well-connected ROM developer had earlier tweeted about Google testing the upcoming Android 4.4.3 update. It doesn't mention any changes, except that Google will be releasing a fix for a known bug.

 The news site has also got its hands on a screenshot of the Android 4.4.3 update for the Nexus 5. However, the report doesn’t mention when the new update is expected to rollout. However, looking at the screenshot and changelog, the new update could be rolling anytime soon.
