Google announces HBO Now, Netflix, and collection of new gaming content for Daydream VR
There are new horror, tower defense, turret defense and brick building titles for Daydream, along with two new limited edition Vision headsets.

Google Daydream VR has announced new applications and content for its VR platform. You can enjoy Game of Thrones as if you are attending a private screening in a theatre with HBO Now and HBO Go available on Daydream. Westworld, The Wire and The Sopranos are some of the series that can be viewed in a virtual theatre.The NextVR app transports users to music concerts, sporting events and motorsport races. NFL, NBA, US Open Matches, the Daytona 500, and Live Nation concerts are some of the content offerings available. If you have a Netflix subscription, you can watch the TV episodes, movies and original Netflix content on a virtual large screen television.[caption id="attachment_352007" align="aligncenter" width="640"]

Users can design their own BrickHeadz characters, and unlock new character items with special combinations. Users can also play with Lego bricks in a virtual environment. Layers of Fear: Solitude is a atmospheric horror title set in a Victorian mansion of a mad painter. Wands is a player vs player title where users get to wield and duel with wands. The game is set in an alternate history London in the 1880s, with a steampunk theme. Gunjack 2: End of Shift is a game where you have to destroy asteroids with a turret. There are power-ups and special weapons available.In Underworld Overlord, you play as the villain who has to destroy wave after wave of heroes attacking your dungeon. It is a tower defense title, where you can direct the flow of heroes, set traps and cast spells.The first Need for Speed title for VR is now available on Daydream as well. Need For Speed: No Limits VR allows gamers to experience the hit gaming franchise in an entirely new way. The headsets are available online through the Google Store in Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States. There is no indication that these headsets are going to be available in more markets. In the UK and US, the headsets in the two new colours are headed to select retail outlets as well.
