Gingerbread Update for Galaxy S Resumes Smoothly
Unlike the previous time, when the update had to be blocked due to issues here and there.
You obviously know that Samsung gave their Galaxy S, Ace and many other users a whiff of Gingerbread by announcing official OTA upgrades. While that’s not new, the positive part is that the current updates seem to be rolling out well enough and are not facing any kind of blockades in particular.
In case you’ve forgotten, this is not the first time Samsung has rolled out Gingerbread updates for the Galaxy S. They had done so earlier through the Kies software. However due to various issues, the update had to be stalled, leaving many Galaxy S users in the lurch. GSMArena says that the update has started rolling out for Galaxy S users in the United Kingdom.
