Galaxy S6 unveiled but here are three features missing in the new Samsung flagship

Samsung's make-or-break Galaxy S6 finally arrives amidst much fanfare. Samsung clearly didn't want to repeat what happened with the Galaxy S4 or S5, and has given the Galaxy S6 a complete makeover along with some nifty features. Samsung might have outdone itself when it came to design, but there are somethings that make the S6 not so loveable.Here are three missing features that don't sound so great.No more removable batteriesIn a not-so-user-friendly move, Samsung has decided to bid goodbye to its removable battery. A removable battery is something that set Samsung devices apart, especially from its arch-rival Apple's iPhone. The new Galaxy S6 models will now come with embedded batteries. This means, in case you are facing some battery woes, you can no more buy a new Samsung battery and easily swap it, instead you will have to submit the device to a service center to get it fixed.Samsung could argue that an embedded battery ensures a slimmer device and typically longer "useful life" over time, points out Cnet. However, we hope Samsung has compensated for the omission of the feature well with its wireless charging and the claimed 'super-fast' charging time.Goodbye expandable storageThis one may hurt really bad. Samsung has ditched the microSD card slot, yet-another celebrated feature of the Galaxy premium lineup. In terms of storage, it has upgraded the minimum storage capacity of the Galaxy S6 to 32GB from 16GB. This means, you will now have to buy a 32GB, 64GB or 128GB unit of the Galaxy S6. This could be a drawback for consumers, considering a higher storage capacity would come at a higher cost.Samsung is offering free 115GB of cloud storage via Microsoft's OneDrive for two years. However, it will mean you'll require Internet connectivity to access your data.No water-resistanceWith the Galaxy S6, Samsung brings the biggest design change to its Galaxy phones. It seems like the start of a new era for Samsung's Galaxy lineup. It now has a non-removable back with wireless charging, but that comes at a cost. Samsung's new Galaxy S6 models aren't water-resistant.An easily swappable battery, microSD card slot and water resistance have been some of Samsung's most differentiating features compared to the iPhone.
