G.SKILL, the worldwide leading high performance memory designer, has announced the new TridentX DDR3 memory kit for 3rd Generation Intel Core Processors and Z77 platform. Designed for overclocking enthusiasts, the TridentX series includes a complete line-up of extreme performance DDR3 memory, starting from 2,400MHz 8GB to 2,800MHz 16GB. The following screens show the TridentX 2800MHz 16GB kit has successfully achieved DDR3 3,320MHz speed, while the 32GB 2666MHz kit has achieved DDR3 2,933MHz speed, both results are with 4 DIMMs fully installed under LN2. Indian pricing details haven’t been announced yet but expect them to surface soon.![New design!]()

Featuring a removable top fin design, the new TridentX heat-spreader allows overclocking enthusiasts to have more flexible options of memory cooling systems, as well as to reduce the height to fit with large CPU coolers. The fins are fastened to the heatsink by two screws which can be easily removed so it can be slid from the side. The new modules come with a striking black and red colour theme which will complement your gaming rig very well, especially if you have side window and LED lighting. The TridentX kits also come with the latest Intel XMP 1.3 standard developed for the Z77 platform. It provides PC enthusiasts an entirely trouble free overclocking experience to boost their Z77 systems for extreme levels of performance, while retaining system stability. All G.SKILL memory products come with a lifetime warranty and complete technical support via online forums, telephone and email.
The different models
The memory modules are available in 8GB, 16GB and 32GB capacities. G.Skill is one of the first memory manufacturers to announce memory modules for Intel’s latest Ivy Bridge CPUs. The new CPU is based on the industry’s first 22nm fabrication process for desktop CPUs that deliver better performance while being more power efficient at the same time. The new memory modules should soon be available across all major hardware stores in the country.
