Blizzard, the developer of the action-role playing video game Diablo, has confirmed that the third edition of the famous game, for PS3 and Xbox 360, will be launched on September 3. The developer believes that Diablo 3 with its dynamic camera – that has the character under focus – along with a brand new user interface and control system will help the game to make a smooth transition on to the new platforms.

You could soon play the game on Xbox 360 and PS3
Though the developer has promised that the above mentioned issues have been rectified, one will have to wait and see how the game performs on the third generation platforms. Diablo 3, the console version, will come with a four-player cooperative play and will support teams made up of both local and online players. Blizzard had started taking pre-orders for the PS3 version of its hack-and-slash RPG from March and the game has created some rising interest in the buyers.
However, the developer has made no announcement regarding the launch of the game on the next generation console, viz. Microsoft’s Xbox one and Sony’s PS4; it is expected that any such announcement would be based on the game’s performance on their predecessors.
