Noise-cancellation IEMs hit India

Cyberstar Infocom (distributors of Creative, Belkin etc.) has announced that Creative’s Active Noise-Canceling in-ear monitors, the EP-3NCs, are making their way into Indian stores. The earphones will be priced at Rs. 5999/-.
Creative claim the earphones reduce significant background noise by up to 90%, and that it provides excellent noise isolation even when noise-cancellation is turned off. These are tall claims, though how much of it is true remains to be seen.
