Creative Announces new Zen Style PMPs - M300 with Bluetooth and M100

Creative's hoping to take on Apple's new iPod Nano 6th Gen with their M300 PMP sporting Bluetooth with A2DP.

Creative has just announced yet another portable media player (PMP) into their Zen series. This iPod Nano 6th Gen style device comes loaded to cater to those seeking a wireless sense of audio playback. Enter the Zen Style M300 and M100 PMPs complete with music, photo and video player with Bluetooth wireless audio playback.

Neat looking devices

The M300 has dimensions of 55 x 44 x 12 mm and comes with features that include a microSD card slot and 1.45-inch TFT screen (262K colors) with touch sensitive buttons. With Bluetooth v2.1 that supports A2DP, you can use the player with any A2DP compatible headset for wireless music streaming. Thanks to MicroSD card support, up to 32GB, there’ll always be plenty of room for more media. An FM radio that allows for up to 32 presets is also present. The M300 will be available in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB capacities and Creative says it should hold up for 20 hours of continuous audio playback. It supports SMV (requires respective codec pre-installed on PC) for video and also has a built-in microphone for voice recording.

The M100, like the M300 supports Audible format for audio books. It’ll be out in 4GB, 8GB capacities, also features a microphone and. The only difference between the two is that the lower end M100 device comes sans Bluetooth or FM radio functionality.

32GB microiSD card support, plenty of space

Both players also come pre-installed with a complete edition of Alyson Noël’s Evermore, the first book in her thrilling Immortals series. The Creative ZEN Style M300 and Creative ZEN Style M100 are available in four colors: black, white, red or yellow.

Both devices have only just been announced and haven’t yet made it to the Indian market but seeing as how Creative already has quite a big fan base here it’s only a matter of time. The international pricing is as follows -
