Computex 2017: Asus launches ZenBook Flip S, ZenBook Pro and ZenBook 3 Deluxe
Asus announced the extension of its ZenBook series by launching three new products at the ongoing Computex 2017.

This year's edition of Computex has officially begun and to kick it off, Taiwan-based IT and smartphone company Asus announced a bunch of new laptops, including an update to its ZenBook series. Three new models were announced, including the ZenBook Pro, the ZenBook Flip S and the Zenbook 3 Deluxe.Starting with the ZenBook Pro (UX550), which seems to be competing head-on with the new Apple MacBook Pro, features a 15.6-inch 4K display, a 7th-generation Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor and an Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050 Ti inside an 18.9 mm chassis. It will be offered with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of SSD storage. It also includes a fingerprint sensor, Thunderbolt 3.0 ports and a quad-speaker system from Harman Kardon. Asus is calling it the 'thinnest, lightest and most powerful ZenBook Pro ever.'[caption id="attachment_378849" align="aligncenter" width="640"]

Image Credit: Asus[/caption]Next up is the ZenBook Flip S (UX370) which is said to be the thinnest convertible notebook. It features a hinge that lets the display fold all the way back and also features a dual-action mechanism that can lift and tilt the keyboard into the typing position even when the display is opened beyond 135 degrees. The machine offers a total thickness of just 10.9 mm. The ZenBook Flip S will be offered with a 7th-generation Intel Core i7-7500U processor along with up to 1 TB SSD storage. It also features a new cooling system that uses a liquid-crystal-polymer fan. It also features a 13.3-inch 4K UHD multi-touch NanoEdge display which supports an active stylus. Like the ZenBook Pro, you get a fingerprint scanner for quick login.[caption id="attachment_378850" align="aligncenter" width="640"]

Image Credit: Asus[/caption]Lastly, we have the ZenBook 3 Deluxe (UX490), which is a 14-inch version of the original ZenBook 3 and thankfully, offers three USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 3 support. The laptop features a 14-inch NanoEdge display and is powered by 7th-generation Intel Core i7-7500U processor with up to 16 GB of RAM and a 1 TB PCIe SSD. The USB Type-C ports with Thunderbolt 3 offer up to 40 Gbps data transfers and support dual 4K UHD external displays. The overall design is similar to the ZenBook 3 and will be offered in similar colour configurations as well.[caption id="attachment_378845" align="aligncenter" width="640"]
