Benchmarks reveal that Apple's A11 chipset is still ahead of the Exynos 9810 SoC on the Samsung Galaxy S9
Speedometer 2.0 result showed that the Galaxy S9 Plus had a score of 26.70 with its Exynos 9810 SoC while the iPhone 8 and iPhone X were 88.90 and 87.20.

The GeekBench 4 single core test showed integer and floating point scores of 4,630 and 3,958 for the A11 SoC while the Exynos 9810 had scores of 3,734 and 3,440 respectively. In fact, the Apple A10 chipset also scored higher than the Exynos with an integer score of 4,007. The Snapdragon 845 SoC meanwhile lagged behind everyone with integer and floating point scores of 2,718 and 2,041 respectively.Speedometer 2.0 result showed that the Galaxy S9 Plus had a score of 26.70 with its Exynos 9810 SoC while the iPhone 8 and iPhone X had huge scores of 88.90 and 87.20. The Snapdragon 845 powered Qualcomm Reference Device, as per AnandTech, managed to get a score of 43.10. As a matter of fact, the iPhone 7 and the S8 with Snapdragon 835 also beat the Exynos version of the Galaxy S9.Andrei Frumusanu of AnandTech said, "What seems clear is that there is something is very very wrong with the Exynos 9810 S9+ that I tested. It was barely able to distinguish itself from last year's Exynos 8895, let alone the Snapdragon 845 Qualcomm Reference Device".Samsung, on the other hand, claimed that the demo unit at MWC 2018 was running on some kind of special firmware which was not optimised, as per the report.You can head over to AnandTech for all the benchmark scores.
