AWS has invested deeply in AI for more than 20 years and it was a natural next step for us to come together to offer an end-to-end solution," Aakrit Vaish, Founder and CEO at Mumbai-based Haptik, said in a statement.Chatbots allow highly-engaging conversational experiences through voice and text that can be customised and used on mobile devices, web browsers and on popular chat platforms, such as Facebook Messenger. The functionality within the AWS AI platform leverages 'Amazon Polly' — a text-to-speech service that uses advanced deep learning technologies to synthesise speech that sounds like a human voice."Amazon Polly, along with company's scalable GPU instances, will help Haptik deliver greater functionality and richer choice to customers," added Navdeep Manaktala, Head of Business Development — India, Amazon Internet Services Private Limited.Additionally, Haptik is now a part of the global Amazon Partner Network programme that helps companies build better products and take advantage of the business benefits AWS offers.
