HTC launches upgraded Jellybean version of popular One X

HTC has launched an upgraded version of its flagship smartphone the One X and called it the One X +. The smartphone will run Android's last OS, Android 4.1 aka Jelly Bean.Key specifications of the smartphone include:• A quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz. The previous version had a 1.5 Ghz processor• 4.7-inch display with a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. The screen size has not changed.• 64GB Internal storage and 1 GB RAM. This is double of the previous version which had 32 GB space.• It has NFC, Bluetooth, WiFi and 4G.[caption id="attachment_478104" align="alignleft" width="380"] The new HTC One X plus.[/caption]• The battery is also much better with a 2100 mAh capacity compared to the previous version which had a 1800 mAh battery. HTC claims this version has 50 percent more battery.• It has an 8 megapixel camera, with LED flash like the last version.The HTC One X+ will be available in Europe and North Asia from October and in South Asia from November 2012. The price has not been revealed.In terms of looks the smartphone doesn't look very different from the original one, but given the popularity of the device, there is every reason to believe that this is bound to be a great phone.HTC One X and One S will get Jelly Bean updates in October.
