The Joy-Con controllers are mapped to the fighting actions in the game.
A good portion of the Nintendo Switch announcement trailer was dedicated to gameplay footage of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. In the early stages of the development of previous consoles, Nintendo is known to have showcased games that never made it to the final version of the consoles. Bethesda had indicated that it was thrilled to be a publishing partner for Nintendo soon after the announcement, which could only be one title. Finally, at E3 2017, Bethesda actually showed a little bit of how playing Skyrim on the Nintendo Switch actually looks like.Since the game makes it to a Nintendo console, there is Amiibo support for The Legend of Zelda's Link. You just bring the character figure close to the console and a chest drops in-game, complete with sound effects from Breath of the Wild. The chest includes Link-inspired gear for your Dragonborn. The gear includes a shield with the triforce and the iconic sword. It is unclear if there is gear support in game for other Amiibo. The Joy-Con controllers are mapped to the fighting actions in the game. In game fighting should be a more interactive experience because of the motion controllers. You can swipe with a joy-con to imitate a sword and even draw a bow and notch an arrow with the same. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on the Nintendo Switch is only one of two new ways to experience the game. Bethesda Softworks also announced that a version of the critically acclaimed title would be available as a PlayStation VR experience in November 2017.
