Ford will launch the 2019 Endeavour SUV in India today. The new Ford Endeavour will be offered with two engine options available in two trims.Aesthetically the 2019 Ford Endeavour is equipped with a restyled grille and revised headlamp elements. The SUV is now offered in the Titanium and the Titainium+ trim and the manufacturer has discontinued the Trend trim which was the base trim until now. Features like six airbags, hill launch assist, cruise control, automatic headlamps, rearview camera with parking guidelines, tyre pressure monitoring system are standard. The Titainium+ is equipped with an extra knee airbag for the driver, front parking sensors, inner electrochromic rearview mirror and hill descent control over the Titanium variant.Ford Endeavour will be offered with two engine options, 2.2L and a 3.2L diesel engine. The 2.2L diesel engine produces 160PS of power and 385Nm of torque and will be offered with a choice of a six-speed manual as well as an automatic gearbox. The 2.2L will be available with both the trims and will be in a rear wheel drive layout. The 3.2L diesel engine makes 200PS and 470Nm of torque and will be offered with only a six-speed automatic gearbox and a four-wheel drive drivetrain as standard.The base variant of the current Ford Endeavour is priced at Rs 26.80 lakh and the top trim retails at Rs 33.33 lakh ex-showroom New Delhi. The prices for the 2019 Ford Endeavour will be announced today, although we believe the new SUV will be dearer to its customer by a premium of Rs 50,000 on the ex-showroom prices. The 2019 Ford Endeavour competes against the Toyota Fortuner, Mahindra Alturas, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and the Isuzu MU-X. The Endeavour also shares the market space with the Honda CR-V and the Skoda Kodiaq.
