Mark Webber says he doesn't remember Sunday's crash in Sao Paulo

Former F1 driver Mark Webber, who had been in a major high-speed car crash at the Six Hours of Sao Paulo event, said he was saved from a serious injury thanks to the 'correct angle' of the impact when he crashed.[caption id="attachment_1831175" align="alignleft" width="380"] Mark Webber says he has no recollection of the car crash. According to a BBC report, Webber also said that he had no recollection of the incident or how it happened.Webber, racing for Porsche in the World Endurance Championship after he quit F1 last season, was stretchered off the Interlagos circuit on Sunday after his car collided with Matteo Cressoni's Ferrari.  [caption id="attachment_1831217" align="alignnone" width="620"] Mark Webber said he was lucky to be alive. Courtesy: Twitter[/caption]Footage showed both cars crashing into a concrete barrier at an estimated speed of 300km/h with Webber's vehicle catching fire before it came to a stop with the car wreck.Webber also said that he was "pretty bruised" and had a "stinking headache", BBC reported."Cressoni was checked by the medical staff at the side of the track and cleared, while Mark Webber, who was awake and alert, was taken to the circuit medical centre for further examination," said a statement from the organisers.Webber, 38, gave a thumbs-up to the crowd as he was taken to the medical centre although there was no immediate word of his condition.
