World's most punctual airlines June 2026: Air India beats Emirates and Singapore Airlines

Air India has secured a place among the world's most punctual airlines, ranking fourth globally in Cirium's June 2026 On-Time Performance (OTP) Report.

The airline outperformed several leading international carriers, including Emirates and Singapore Airlines, highlighting the steady progress it has made in improving operational reliability.

According to Cirium's latest monthly report, Air India recorded an on-time arrival rate of 86.85 per cent across 15,135 scheduled flights, alongside a completion factor of 99.70 per cent, meaning almost every scheduled flight was successfully operated.

According to Cirium's June 2026 global airline rankings, Saudia emerged as the world's most punctual airline with an on-time arrival rate of 92.38 per cent, followed by Korean Air at 88.56 per cent.

Aeromexico secured the third spot with 86.94 per cent, while Air India ranked fourth with an on-time performance of 86.85 per cent, narrowly ahead of Singapore Airlines, which completed the top five with 86.74 per cent.

The rankings demonstrate how closely contested airline punctuality has become, with only a narrow margin separating the third, fourth and fifth positions.

The report also evaluates an airline's completion factor, which measures the percentage of scheduled flights that operate without cancellation.
