Woman hangs self, three children inside cow shed in Bihar's East Champaran district
A 35-year-old woman hanged her three minor children and then herself inside a cow shed in Bihar's East Champaran district on Friday, a police officer said. The reason behind the suicide is not yet known.


Representational image. Reuters[/caption]The victims were identified as Dhanpati Devi, her daughter Sandhya Kumari (6) and two sons - Ritesh (3) and Chhotu (four months). The woman's husband works outside. The villagers found the bodies hanging from the ceiling of her cow shed at Chhota Baishahan village under Chakia police station area, and informed the police.Superintendent of Police Upendra Kumar Sharma went to the spot and inquired about the incident. The police are investigating the matter, Kumar said. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination.
