Pakistan violates ceasefire again in RS Pura Sector, injures BSF personnel

On Wendesday, PTI reported that Pakistan targeted Indian posts with heavy mortar and small arms fire in the RS Pura sector of border in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday injuring an assistant sub-inspector of Border Security Force. But this is not the first time it has violated cease fire. According to reports, since India carried out stealth strikes inside Pakistan Occupied Kashmir on the night of September 28, there have been over 40 ceasefire violations by Pakistani troops. On October 25, Pakistan army had targeted Indian Army positions with mortar and small arms fire in Noushera sector of Rajouri district. "From 10 am, Pakistan army resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation in Noushera sector of Rajouri district by targeting our positions with mortar bombs and small arms fire", an army officer had told PTI. There was no loss of life reported.However cross-border firing on October 24 lead to the death of a six-year-old boy and a BSF Jawan, and injured 10 people including eight civilians. Pakistani troops targeted over 25 border outposts in the border hamlets along International Border using small and automatic weapons as well mortar bombs in the border areas. The Indian army has constantly been on alert, and have been advising people to stay indoors as firing continues across the Line of Control.With agency inputs
