Pak to India: Terror common threat, don't play blame game

New Delhi: Terrorism is a common threat for both India and Pakistan and a blame game will not help, Pakistan Foreign Secretary Jalil Abbas Jilani said Thursday.Responding to questions at a press conference with Indian Foreign Secretary Ranjan Mathai after their two-day talks, Jilani said Pakistan was ready for a joint investigation with India into the disclosures made by Abu Jindal, the Indian arrested here for his role in 26/11.[caption id="attachment_368080" align="alignleft" width="380"] Foreign Secretary Ranjan Mathai with his Pakistani counterpart Jalil Abbas Jilani in New Delhi on Wednesday. If we blame each other like this, it will have no benefit and we will reach no conclusion," Jilani said."I, my government and my people are very serious about this... Terrorism is a serious issue. We need serious and sincere efforts to resolve it," he said.Jilani added: "We will investigate this matter. We will even be willing to offer joint investigation in this matter."Jilani's response came after Mathai said evidence on Jindal had been shared with Pakistan.IANS
