Operation Hot Pursuit: Watch History TV18 unravel the inside story of Indian Army's daring counter-insurgency strike

In June 2015, while an Indian Army convoy was en route from Chandel in Manipur to Dimapur in Nagaland, they were ambushed by the National Socialist Council of Nagaland–Khapalang (NSCN-K), a well-organised insurgent group operating in North East India.[caption id="attachment_4409397" align="alignleft" width="380"] A screenshot from the bulletin[/caption]Eighteen soldiers were killed, in what was one of the deadliest attacks in North East India in a decade. Out of this need was born 'Operation Hot Pursuit', for which the army's elite Paratrooper Special Forces unit's commandos were handpicked.
