As the BJP is poised to clean sweep the three states in the Assembly elections, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday said that the election results have proved that the days of appeasement and caste politics are over and politics of performance is what India votes for.Taking to X, Shah also congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on BJP's grand victory."Today's election results have proved that the days of appeasement and caste politics are over...New India votes on Politics of Performance. I salute the people of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan for this immense support. Many congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji on this grand victory of BJP...," wrote Shah in Hindi.Shah also posted separate posts for the people of the four states - Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Telangana - thanking them for their tremendous support.According to News 18, as of 5:15 pm, BJP is leading with 166 seats in Madhya Pradesh, 114 in Rajasthan, 54 in Chhattisgarh. Congress is leading with 66 seats in Telangana, while BJP is ahead in 9 seats.With inputs from agencies
