India will enter its third phase of polling on May 7 (Tuesday). The first two phases of the Lok Sabha elections 2024 recorded voter turnouts of 66.14 per cent and 66.71 per cent respectively.

The third phase of the elections will span 11 states and Union Territories (UTs) and will cover 94 constituencies. The first phase covered 102 constituencies while the second covered 88. The voting process will begin at 7 am and go on till 5 pm. The counting of votes will take place on June 4.

The constituency of Surat, which was initially slated to go to polls in this phase, will not witness the election process as the BJP candidate from this seat has won unopposed.
