Kashmir: Terrorists shoot, injure civilian in Anantnag
Two terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district

According to police, on Wednesday night, terrorists opened fire in the Waniham neighbourhood of the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, injuring one person."Terrorists fired upon one person namely Sahil Bashir Dar son of Bashir Ah Dar resident of Wanihama in Anantnag district. The injured person is being shifted to hospital for treatment. Further details shall follow," Kashmir Zone Police said in a post on X (formerly Twitter).The area has been sealed off since the shooting happened, they claimed.More information is awaited.In the meantime, two terrorists were killed in a clash with security personnel in the Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir.From the scene of the encounter, the bodies of the terrorists who were slain are being removed."2 terrorists killed. Bodies of the killed terrorists are being retrieved from the site of the encounter. The cordon & search operation is still in progress. Further details shall follow," Kashmir Police Zone said in a post on X.On Wednesday morning, an encounter between the security forces and terrorists broke out in the Kulgam district of south Kashmir."Encounter has started at Kujjar area of Kulgam.
