Israeli embassy attack: Govt in talks with Iran
Home Minister P Chidambaram said they were in talks with the Iran government to get access to Iranian citizens who were allegedly involved in the attack on a vehicle belonging to the Israeli embassy.

After the Interpol issued notices for four Iranians wanted in connection with the bomb attack on an Israeli diplomat in Delhi, the Home Minister said they were in talks with the Iran government to get access to some of their citizens for questioning."We are in touch with Government of Iran and with the embassy of Iran in Indian in order to be able to access some persons for questioning. [/caption]Delhi Police Commissioner B K Gupta had claimed earlier that some Iranian nationals had allegedly conducted reconnaissance of the Israeli embassy earlier with the help of an Indian journalist Syed Ahmed Kazmi, who was arrested on 6 March.The Interpol had on 23 March issued the look-out notices against Iranians–Houshang Afshar Irani, Syed Ali Mahdiansadr, Mohammadreza Abolghasemi and Masoud Sedaghatzadeh.Sedaghatzadeh was arrested by the Malaysian police from Kuala Lumpur airport on the request of the CBI.The police had claimed that the module, which attacked the Israeli embassy car on 13 February on Aurangazeb road injuring a mission employee and three others, had surveyed the mission office way back in May last year before returning to check again in January and February.Israeli diplomat, Tal Yehoshua, and an Indian driver of the embassy vehicle were among four people injured in the 13 February blast after a magnetic bomb stuck to the vehicle went off.with inputs from PTI
