Ignore remarks made by Ramdev about MPs: Cong

New Delhi: Terming yoga guru Ramdev's controversial remarks dubbing Parliamentarians as "dacoits, murderers" as an "insuslt of MPs, Parliament, Constitution and the people, Congress today asked the media to "ignore" such statements.[caption id="attachment_297671" align="alignleft" width="380" caption="Alvi asked the media not to give publicity to Baba's remarks."][/caption]Party spokesperson Rashid Alvi said such remarks by some people are "inappropriate" and "not civilized"."This is not only the insult of MPs but Parliament. Parliament is made of MPs who are elected representatives of people, according to the Constitution. If such words are used for MPs, this is also the insult of the Constitution and the people who elect them," Alvi said.Alvi asked the media not to give publicity to such remarks.PTI
