Two powerful earthquake of 4.6 magnitude and 6.2 magnitude struck Nepal on Tuesday afternoon. Strong tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR, Lucknow, Chandigarh and Jaipur.The first quake of 4.6 magnitude struck Nepal around 2:25 pm (IST), while the country was jolted by another 6.2 magnitude earthquake around 2:51 pm (IST)The National Centre of Seismology said, "Earthquake of magnitude: 4.6, occurred on 03-10-2023, 14:25:52 IST, Lat: 29.37 and Long: 81.22, Depth: 10 Km, Location: Nepal."In less than half-an-hour, it posted another update saying, "Earthquake of Magnitude:6.2, occurred on 03-10-2023, 14:51:04 IST, Lat: 29.39 and Long: 81.23, Depth: 5 Km , Location: Nepal."People took to social media to share videos of the moment the tremors were felt.A user shared a clip of people evacuating a high-rise using the stairs after the earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR.Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and people from his office also stepped out of their office.Further details awaited.
