Confident the new parliament will enhance dedication, PM Modi shares transition from old to new building
Bidding goodbye to the old Parliament building, Union Ministers and MPs, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, moved to the new building on Tuesday where the remaining days of special secession will be conducted

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Wednesday shared a video documenting the transition from the old Parliament building now known as 'Samvidhan Sabha' to the new Parliament building."Yesterday was a very special day for our democracy. I am confident that the new Parliament will enhance the dedication and further transformative governance for our nation," PM Modi said on X.Bidding goodbye to the old Parliament building, Union Ministers and MPs, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, moved to the new building on Tuesday where the remaining days of special secession will be conducted.PM Modi also addressed the MPs in the Central hall of the old parliament building, before moving to the new premises.In his speech, the Prime Minister said, “Today, we are going to do ‘Shree Ganesha’ of new future as we move to the new Parliament building.”While speaking, PM Modi also urged Members of Parliament to reaffirm the commitment to make India a developed nation by 2047 and described the move to the new Parliament building as a new beginning towards a new future.He was addressing a gathering of MPs at the historic Central Hall of the old Parliament building during a function to commemorate the rich legacy of the Parliament of India.“In the new Parliament building, we are going to make new beginnings for a new future,” Modi said.
