Reuters[/caption]The payment was being made to all families covered under Public Distribution System through their bank accounts under 'direct benefit transfer' system, an official release said.It said those who were yet to have a bank account could open them under 'zero balance' scheme with the banks after submitting address proof. For details of getting the relief, cardholders could approach taluk offices or the directorate of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs or the Collector's office the release said.PTI
