Four new Covid cases detected in Gurugram, total rises to 23 in latest surge

Four more people were diagnosed with coronavirus infection in Gurugram on Sunday, a health department official said.

Four new coronavirus cases were reported in Gurugram on Sunday, bringing the total number of infections during the latest resurgence to 23, according to the district health department.

Officials said 12 of the cases are currently active, with all patients experiencing only mild symptoms and recovering in home isolation. A total of 97 samples were collected on Sunday for testing.

Gurugram is witnessing a surge in the COVID cases after two and a half years.

Civil Surgeon Dr Alka Singh appealed to the general public not to ignore its flu-like symptoms and immediately contact the nearest health centre and get a corona test.
