Former Guardian editor is UK's Green Party leader

London: Britain's Green Party says it has elected ex-journalist Natalie Bennett as its new leader.The party, which holds one House of Commons seat, said Monday that the 46-year-old, who was born in Australia, had won a ballot of members.Bennett was previously the editor of The Guardian Weekly newspaper.
