Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is the talk of the town after an incredible Indian Premier League 2026 where he finished with a plethora of awards. Aged just 15, the Rajasthan Royals opener smashed the best of the bowlers and has become one of world cricket's biggest stars at the moment.

Sooryvanshi was the highest run-scorer of IPL 2026 and also broke several records including the long-standing record of Chris Gayle of most sixes in a season. His performance and popularity has meant that brands are lining up to sign him to promote their product. A report in the Economic Times states that he could be charging over Rs 1 crore for a brand deal, which is more than double of his previous fees.

Brands chasing Sooryavanshi

According to the report, at least six brands are after the teenager, hoping to get him on board to promote their products. Sports drinks, cricket bats, nutrition products and high-performance footwear labels have been named in the report as the brands that want Sooryavanshi on board.

“Brands are queuing to sign him for first-mover advantage — he has a long career ahead of him — and there is also a vacuum among bankable Indian cricketers at the moment, with some big names failing to perform,” an executive quoted in the report said. “Also, unlike earlier, when deals ran for 3–5 years, brands now prefer 2–3-year contracts so they can reassess based on form.”

“Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has emerged as one of the most exciting young faces in Indian cricket at a time when several established names are nearing the twilight of their careers,” said Melroy Dsouza, COO, PMG Sports. “Brands will naturally want to associate with him, but Rajasthan Royals are likely to be selective about the endorsements he takes up.”

The report also mentioned that the actual fees that Sooryavanshi charges will depend on how much exposure his family wants to give him to such things. At just 15, the hard-hitter has a long career ahead of him with many cautioning him to not get swayed away by success.

“His fees, at about INR 50 lakh per deal, may increase to the INR 1 crore-plus bracket, but that will depend on negotiations and how much exposure his family is comfortable with, considering his age,” said the marketing head of a brand in talks with his management.
