'Keep moving forward': Sanju Samson pens emotional note on Instagram after India snub for Australia ODIs

Sanju Samson on Tuesday took to Instagram to share a cryptic message after he was dropped from the India squad to face Australia in the upcoming ODI series at home.The team management decided to rest key senior players for the first two ODIs, including Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav.The likes of Ruturaj Gaikwad, Tilak Varma, R Ashwin and Washington Sundar were included in the team as a result, but Samson was overlooked once again by the selectors.“It is what it is!! I choose to keep moving forward,” Samson wrote on Instagram along with a picture of his batting. Samson last played for India during the T20I series against Ireland in August. He also played the limited-overs series against West Indies in the Caribbean and the United States, and despite scoring a half-century in the third ODI, Samson struggled for consistency.Till date, Samson has played 13 ODIs and scored 390 runs at an average of 55.71.The first ODI will played in Mohali on 22 September, followed by the second match in Indore two days later. The two teams will then travel to Rajkot for the third ODI on 27 September. KL Rahul will lead India in Rohit’s absence during the first two ODIs.
