The Bangla Tigers sealed a convincing 86-run victory (via DLS method) as the Aussies endured a forgettable outing at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka.

After Australia elected to field first, Bangladesh posted 284/8, courtesy of opener Tanzid Hasan's 52 and Najmul Hossain Shanto's 67, anchoring the top-order batting. Mosaddek Hossain delivered a splendid knock, scoring 86* off 70 deliveries to continue their push for a competitive score while the Aussies picked timely scalps.

The Josh Inglis-led side looked troubled from ball one after opener Matt Short fell for a duck, while no. 3 Marnus Labuschagne was dismissed for just one via lbw.
BAN's Nahid Rana inflicted major damage, claiming 4 for 41 in a brilliant outing against the Aussies. Mosaddek also continued his brilliance with the ball, securing two scalps as they weakened the visitors' batting line-up.
Alex Carey and Cameron Green delivered a valiant fight, with Carey putting up 47 while Green struck an unbeaten 52. Opener Cooper Connolly also scored 35, but BAN's bowling attack overpowered them, leading to a historic 86-run defeat.
