Zareen Khan meets with accident in Goa; scooterist dies after collision with actress' car

A scooterist died in North Goa's beach village of Anjuna, after ramming into a car owned by Bollywood actress Zareen Khan, the police said on Wednesday.[caption id="attachment_5689621" align="alignnone" width="825"]Zareen Khan. Image from Facebook

Image from Facebook[/caption]The accident occurred late on Wednesday, when the deceased Nitesh Goral, 31, resident of Mapusa, a nearby town, rammed his scooter into the car, before falling off. He later died of head injuries at the Asilo Hospital in Mapusa.The actor as well as her driver Ali Abbas were present in the car when the accident occurred police said. "We are investigating the incident," a police official attached to the Anjuna police station told reporters here.As per India TV, the actress has sustained minor injuries and is shaken by the incident.The report also stated that the biker was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.Zareen recently made headlines after she filed an FIR against her former manager Anjali Atha claiming that she recently learnt that Atha was spreading rumours about the actress in the industry, which affected Khan's career.After debuting alongside Salman Khan in Veer, Zareen Khan has acted in films like Hate Story 3 and Housefull 2. Khan's last outing at the theatres was Vikram Bhatt's horror film 1921, which released in January earlier this year.(With inputs from Indo-Asian News Service)
