Zac Efron to play serial killer in upcoming film Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil & Vile

Hollywood actor Zac Efron is popularly known for his romantic-comedy films; he enjoys a massive popularity among both his male and female fans. Image via Facebook[/caption]Now there are reports that Efron will be seen in the role of the infamous serial killer Ted Bundy in upcoming biopic, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil & Vile, says refinery29.com, in one of its reports.According to the report, Efron recently made an appearance in a Buzzfeed videos ahead of the release of his upcoming film, The Greatest Showman along with his co-star Zendaya. In the interview, he alluded to the fact that the serial killer role in Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil & Vile is one of his most challenging ones till date."Ted Bundy is going to be a challenge. I think it's going to be different and it's going to be fun. I'm super stoked," said Efron when asked about his role in the film.Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil & Vile is being helmed by Joe Berlinger  who has previously directed films like Paradise Lost: The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills, Brother’s Keeper.According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, the premise of the biopic will be based on the dark and harrowing accounts of Ted Bundy's longtime girlfriend Elizabeth Kloepfer. Ted Bundy made headlines during the 1970s after he was arrested and later executed on charges of a slew of murders, rapes, burglaries and indulgence in necrophilic activities.
