Watch: Shahid and Alia’s chemistry lights up 'Nazdeekiyaan' from Shaandaar

Picture this - a heritage castle, a grand ballroom, a black-and-white screen, a gown-glad lady, a tuxedo-clad man and some soft music.[caption id="attachment_2450410" align="alignleft" width="380"] Screengrab from the video[/caption]No this is not the setting of some Victorian novel, but the video of the new song from Shaandaar. Titled Nazdeekiyaan, it is a love ballad shot in set in vintage style.Featuring a dapper Shahid Kapoor and an elegant Alia Bhatt, the video is shot in black and white and has an old world charm to it.Add to it the sparkling chemistry between Shahid and Alia and the soulful voices of Nikhil Paul George and Neeti Mohan and we have another winner from Amit Trivedi after Gulaabo and Shaam Shaandaar.The song brilliantly captures the 'Shaalia' (as they are now called on social media) dynamic as throughout the video they are unable to keep their eyes of each other. Alia looks regal in a flowing outfit while Shahid rocks a classic tux. The production design and setting of the song is gorgeous to say the least.Apart from the fairy-tale romance element, the highlight of the video though is the light-hearted moment between father-son Shahid and Pankaj Kapoor who actually dance with each other at one point. Vikas Bahl has done wonderfully to get the best from his actors as is evident from this one video itself.Be prepared to have a new earworm melody.Watch the full video here
