Watch: Parineeti Chopra welcomed with dhol at Raghav Chadha's Delhi residence

A day after winding up nuptials in Udaipur's The Leela, newlyweds Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha headed with their family to New Delhi.

In the video gaining traction on the internet, the Ishaqzaade actress can be seen stepping into the Chadha house in Delhi's Pandara Park. The bride can also be seen receiving a warm welcome at the residence amid Dhol beats on Monday night.

In the video posted on Instagram by a paparazzo, Parineeti Chopra is welcomed into the politician’s house amid tight security. The actress is seen getting out of a white car and a band starts playing when the car reaches the bungalow’s gate.

Earlier, the duo were also spotted arriving at Delhi airport.

As pointed out in reports, the actress will live with her politician-husband in his official bungalow in Pandara Park.

Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha tied the knot on Sunday, 24 September in Udaipur amid festive fervour. The two recently took to their Instagram feeds to share glimpses of the extravagant event. The ceremony took place at The Leela Palace in Udaipur on Pichola Lake. The duo’s ‘pheras’ unfolded between 4:30 and 6:30 pm on Sunday.

Many glimpses of Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha’s nuptials have circulated on social media. A new video from RagNeeti’s varmala ceremony shows the bride and groom dancing to the beats holding umbrella in their hand as they walk down the aisle after the varmala ceremony. While Raghav Chadha held the transparent umbrella, Parineeti Chopra left everyone smiling with her fun dance moves.

Among the guests who led the celeb roll call from the bride's side included former tennis champion Sania Mirza and designer Manish Malhotra. The groom's side featured Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann, former cricketer and AAP member Harbhajan Singh with wife Geeta Basra. In addition, it included MP Sanjay Singh and Yuva Sena president Aditya Thackeray.

Filmmaker Karan Johar missed the much-awaited event due to a family emergency. On the other hand, Parineeti's cousin, actress Priyanka Chopra along with husband-singer Nick Jonas missed the celebrations due to work commitments.

Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha got engaged at Delhi’s Kapurthala house on 13 May. The intimate ceremony was graced by Kejriwal, Bhagwant Mann and Priyanka Chopra among others.
