The advent of the internet brought with it the constant pressure on women to be perfect, what with products being advertised left, right and centre. Perfect hair, perfect makeup and perfect clothes all the time.With that comes body-shaming. She has made it to the cover of Elle Canada and also has been the face of The Gap catalog.And closer home, along with being a top-notch comedian who is as popular as her male counterparts, Bharti Singh has done the unprecedented and signed up for a beauty advertisement.The Comedy Nights Bachao star stars in a TVC for Joy - Beautiful By Nature. The advertisement has her promoting the honey and almond body lotion. In the advertisement, she says that though she has always been applauded for her comedic talents, no one had ever called her beautiful.But the fact that she asked to promote a beauty brand makes her feel on top of the world. She alludes this to the changing beauty standards. She mentions how she was called fat, or an "elephant" when she was growing up, and how things seems to be looking up now.Here's a look at the advertisement:
