Transformers: The Last Knight preview introduces us to its protagonist Izzy
The preview of Transformers: The Last Knight gives us a glimpse into the strong, feminist character of Izzy.

A preview of Transformers: The Last Knight, which puts the spotlight on its young lead character Izzy, was released by Paramount Pictures on 16, March 2017. Izzy or Isabella, essayed by Isabela Moner is a strong and brave feminist character, upon whose small shoulders seem to rest big responsibilities.[caption id="attachment_3339712" align="alignnone" width="825"]
Youtube screengrab[/caption]The preview opens with the image of a destroyed stadium, where four children are walking through the debris left behind after what is presumably a fight involving Transformers. "We're not supposed to be here," says one of the kids, to which another replies by saying, "We're kids man; we get away with anything."Just as you're about to think that the Transformers world is no place for a young child, we are introduced to Izzy in a shot where she is being woken up by a small-sized Transformer. She sleeps in a car in a parking lot. She gives us an introduction of her character "I was just a normal kid, before my world fell apart." I went to a normal school, lived a normal life, until everything changed," she says. She seems to have grown up around Tranformers, and can even fix them when they get injured. Her character definitely has spunk. The preview has the gritty, tough look that all Transformers films have and we also see a poster depicting these machines as the enemy. The preview portrays the Transformers universe as going through an all-out warThe most powerful moment from this preview is when Izzy says, "They say you run like a girl, you throw like a girl, you fight like a girl. Fight like a girl, yeah I fight like a girl. Don't you?"Transformers: The Last Knight is directed by Michael Bay. It stars Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Isabela Moner, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro, Laura Haddock and Anthony Hopkins. It will releases on 23 June, 2017.Watch the preview here:
