Aaron Sorkins reveals that The Social Network producer has asked him more than once over email if 'Isn’t it time for a sequel?'

Aaron Sorkin, the Oscar-winning screenwriter for The Social Network, believes that a sequel to the 2010 Mark Zuckerberg biopic should be made. He also revealed that producer Scott Rudin has over multiple emails expressed his desire to make a follow-up to the David Fincher directorial.In an interview with AP Entertainment, Sorkin spoke about how it is time for a sequel to The Social Network. He said, "I know a lot more about Facebook in 2005 than I do in 2018 — but, I know enough to know that there should be a sequel," said Sorkin, adding that a lot of "interesting, dramatic stuff" has transpired ever since the film ended with settling the lawsuit from the Winklevoss twins and Eduardo Saverin.[caption id="attachment_5883761" align="alignnone" width="825"]![A still from The Social Network. Starring Jesse Eisenberg as founder Mark Zuckerberg, along with Andrew Garfield as Eduardo Saverin, Justin Timberlake as Sean Parker, and Armie Hammer as Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, the movie went onto win three Oscars and four Golden Globe Awards.
