Veteran actress Padmini Kolhapure and filmmaker Pradeep Sharma's son Priyaank, who is also Shraddha Kapoor's cousin, will make his film debut with first-time director Karan Kashyap's Sab Kushal Mangal. Priyaank Sharma's debut Sab Kushal Mangal even has Akshaye Khanna play a pivotal role in the film[/caption]Padmini confirmed the news to Mirror stating that she was very excited. However, the actress also pointed out that the atmosphere back home had always been non-filmy and that there was no pressure on Priyaank to take up a profession related to acting.Padmini reminisced that Priyaank had always naturally gravitated towards dramatics in school. Sharma has even done a year-long acting course from the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York, adds the report.Prachi weighed in on the casting stating that she had recognised Priyaank the moment she got his profile. The two had gone to the same school and were in the same class. After she went to their house for the narration, the family apparently was quite keen on Priyaank making his debut with Sab Kushal Mangal.The situational comedy has been penned by Karan, who earlier assisted Shaad Ali on Bunty Aur Babli, Shimit Amin on Chak De! India and Mani Ratnam on Raavan. Set against the backdrop of Jharkhand, Sab Kushal Mangal will be shot from beginning till end in a 45-day schedule. Shooting is supposed to begin from February-end.Priyaank has also been reportedly undergoing a two-month workshop for Sab Kushal Mangal.
