Sharmila Tagore sends invites for Saif-Kareena's wedding

We still don't know the wedding date of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor but according to reports, Saif's mother and veteran actress Sharmila Tagore is already handing out invites for the wedding. Ever since Saif and Kareena declared that they will tie the knot in 2012, the media has been going crazy over their wedding dates, wedding trousseau, venue among other things.If reports are to be trusted, the most high profile wedding of Bollywood will take place on 16 October, as Sharmila had initially announced.[caption id="attachment_452967" align="alignleft" width="380"] Sachin Gokhale/Firstpost[/caption]Last month, in an interview to MiDDAY Sharmila had said that the wedding will take place in two parts. There would be a celebrity bash in Mumbai and a  small ceremony in Delhi. Rumour mills have it that  Saif's sister Saba Ali Khan and his mother are the ones in charge of the wedding. The venue is still undisclosed but it will  not take place in the Pataudi mansion since it is being renovated.Kareena Kapoor, however, continues to remain tightlipped about the wedding date and says that the only date that is finalised as of yet is the release date of her film Heroine which also happens to be her birthday.In a recent press conference Kareena said, “Right now, only one date is fixed — a date with you all, at a cinema near you on September 21, which is also my birthday,” she said. She insisted that she is so busy with the promotion of her soon-to-be-released movie ‘Heroine', that she can't think of anything else.However, since the news of a 16 October wedding came straight out of the Pataudi stable, should we dismiss it so soon? May be not.
